As Business Partner manager, I develop and manage relationship with business partners to enable market share growth of 2G and 3G markets, and entry into new markets in Europe and emerging countries.

- Managed 2 “business Partner” accounts addressing 3G and 2G mobile phone markets and the cellular 2G Machine to Machine market (Telematic and eMetering).
- Generated and selected viable opportunities to enable effective resource allocation and a multiplier effect for market share growth with partners, to overcome Philips Semiconductors resource limitations.
- Developed market know-how of cellular 2G and 3G markets as well as eMetering and Telematic. Creating value propositions to address 2.5G mobile phone, eMetering and Telematics markets.
- Identified new technology/feature for 2.5G mobile phone market. Created value proposition to promote the feature internally and at customers to generate interest and ease adoption. Managed the development of this feature into existing Philips based phones. Expected market launch Christmas 2006.
- Developed eMetering and Telematic businesses based on 2G cellular platform. Currently working on 2 projects with 2 large eMetering companies to be on the market by Q1 2007. And in addition, prospecting three large Telematic companies in view to the 2009 EU regulation for road tolling.
- Managed customer project for the realisation of a GSM/EDGE/UMTS platform to address both mobile phone and PCMCIA markets. Promoted Nexperia chipsets and SW to maximised Philips Semiconductors product portfolio into customer design.
- Developed relationship with key players in the value chain such as Design House, ODM, OEM, CMS and EMS in order to penetrate the Machine to Machine Market.
- Pushed products into new channels such as distribution to maximise penetration into targeted markets.
- Managed both on-site and remote customer projects from early development to prototype, test and production. Coordinated support resources to ensure design-in success. Two products based on 2G cellular platforms are currently on production for a large Swedish OEM.
- Briefed, drove and motivated the “business partner” team to ensure timely production of the customer products. Created briefing to all other development stakeholders (customer, development, manufacturing) on pending project.
- Drove prospecting, business planning, forecasting, & reporting. Visited regularly customers and prospects to get real marketing input, promoted Philips products and follow up with opportunities.
- Provided product and pricing information. Understand customer price target and competitive offering.
